About Connected Resourcing

Connected Resourcing is a dedicated Aged Care recruitment company. We understand that working in aged care specifically is often a heart-driven investment and that finding the right fit is essential for both providers and job seekers.  

 

For providers, we're all about integrity and ethical practices. We're not just here to fill a quota or make a quick buck. We believe in building long-lasting relationships, treating everyone with respect and working collaboratively to ensure the best possible outcomes.

At Connected Resourcing, we take pride in supporting non-profit clients and charitable organisations to make a positive impact on our community, especially in regional areas. Unlike other recruitment agencies, we don't rely on KPIs to measure our success. Instead, we work collaboratively as a team on every placement, prioritising finding the right fit in the quickest time possible.

EMPATHY

Anyone who has dedicated their career to Aged Care knows its not for the money, there is a heart driven investment that fuels staff to continue working within the industry despite it being a candidate driven market. The Connected Resourcing team have spent time in our clients facilities, we have been blessed enough to meet a lot of the residents, yes we have our sneaky favourites. When we interview our candidates, we always consider whether we would feel comfortable with this person caring for our parents, would they advocate for them, do they have the emotional intelligence needed, if the answer is no, we do not endorse them to care for someone else’s parents.

COLLABORATION

We measure our success differently to other recruitment companies, most recruiters have heavy monthly KPIs with a certain number of placements to reach or budgets to hit. Employees under this kind of pressure make poor decisions, they go for the fastest easiest option rather than the right one, leading to a diluted level of quality and retention for their clients. It also means the facilities in more regional locations or the roles that are harder to fill are forgotten, usually they are the facilities in need of the most help! Connected Resourcing do not operate on a KPI structure. We work as a team, on every placement, with every client. We pool our resources and strengths; this has seen us successfully recruit to roles where other agencies have been unsuccessful. A collaborative recruitment model has made us a service provider of choice within the Aged Care industry.

RESPECT

We treat each other, our clients and candidates with mutual respect and sensitivity. Working in Aged Care in this current climate is not easy, by the time a Facility Manager reaches the point of using an external recruiter they are already under a great deal of pressure from staff shortages, unhappy residents, burnout. We respect their contribution to the industry, and we understand it is important that we listen to them and that we learn so that we can help them to the best of our ability.

We adopt the highest ethical standards of our industry and always operate with transparency and trust while adhering to the RSCA standards. We pride ourselves on the open and honest relationships we have built with our clients and candidates over the years. If we are not able to meet your needs in the time frames required, we will tell you. If a candidate or job is not the right fit, we will discuss it with you. If we have made a mistake, we will take accountability for it.
